Our Flipped Classroom
Hi guys! I'm here with a new topic and task.😊
The Flipped Classroom Approach is a mixture of online and general classroom education. It's very advantageous. Generally, students watch a video about a new topic and practice it in a real classroom. So, we both save time and students learn easily because they come to the class prepared beforehand. However, it has disadvantages too. Some students may not have technological devices to watch videos, or they can understand the topic better in face-to-face instruction by asking questions while listening to their teacher.
For our task, we had to prepare a teaching video for around 5 minutes. As a group of four, we had to choose a grammar topic from our given book and plan a lesson for our video. We chose ''should'' as our topic and planned our lesson by focusing on both form and function. After that, we had to choose a teaching style and we chose to reflect our worksheets and talk from the back while writing. We prepared 4 pages at home separately by using Canva for the lesson, and then we met and united them by using screen recording and Capcut with our voice recordings to make a video. Then we prepared a quiz by using Wordwall to test students. The link of the quiz is available for them after watching our video. We had a hard time uniting the recordings as we exceeded the time limit. But we tried to talk more quickly than before so we could handle it by not exceeding the time limit.
