About Me

Hi everyone!

   Firstly, I want to say hello to all students like me or anyone interested in ELT and any person who comes to my blog to get a look at it and read my posts that are about some ideas related to ELT. 

The girl in the picture is me. I'm İrem, also I have a second name called Müzeyyen which is a very old name in my country.

I was born in 2004. I'm from Turkey. I was born and raised in İstanbul but currently, I have been living in Kocaeli for one year. Even though I have been living in Kocaeli since last year, I can say that I'm in İstanbul nearly every day. Yes, it's true! I'm on an intercity travel nearly every day. 

I will turn 20 in July. I'm a second-year ELT student at Marmara University. 

I can play guitar a little bit. I like playing badminton in my free time, learning new languages, listening to different kinds of music, and watching series. I'm a coffee addict person, especially for the cold coffee. I have an interest in Korean culture. I like trying their foods like Myeon, Tteokbokki, and Gimbap and also I love their series.

I want to be an English Teacher who can enable students to communicate in daily or formal talks in English without hesitating. I want to be a good role model for my future students. I want to guide my students effectively in their learning in a student-centered class.

I created this blog because I want to share some thoughts with you about a class of mine which is called Instructional Technologies and Material Design in English Language. In our class, we learn how can we as future teachers benefit from technology while teaching English, also we learn some apps, perspectives, the history of technologies, sites, and so on. So, this blog will mostly be about the interaction of technology with English teaching, technological knowledge related to education, and the ELT department. I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences and some ideas with you about these topics and ELT.
